Trapped on an outdated WordPress site, the company struggled to sell their complex, customizable products online. The Problem

Mouldings One’s WordPress website was unable to handle the complexity of its products or convey the precision of its craftsmanship. Every sale, even simple ones, required a quote request due to variable pricing and shipping factors such as size, material, finish, and custom specifications. The website’s text-heavy, brochure-style design failed to visually showcase the company’s expertise, frustrating visitors and resulting in lost sales.

The outdated platform also hindered user experience. Customers could not explore products easily or distinguish between standard items and fully custom projects. Operational inefficiencies compounded the problem: internal teams were unable to manage products, updates, or campaigns independently, creating heavy reliance on manual processes. Our Solution

DigitlHaus migrated Mouldings One to BigCommerce, designing a flexible platform capable of handling both standard and custom products. A custom BigCommerce application was built on a third-party server to manage complex pricing, shipping calculations, and dynamic product configurations in real-time. The app integrated with BigCommerce’s native options system, allowing the team to easily add and manage products without technical expertise.

The front-end experience was reimagined with a minimal, craftsmanship-focused design that highlighted precision and detail. Customers could now configure products visually, see real-time pricing, and purchase standard items directly online, while custom projects flowed through an organized quote system.

DigitlHaus streamlined workflows, reduced quote dependency, and created an intuitive admin interface for internal teams. The combination of backend flexibility and engaging front-end design transformed the sales process, enabling a modern, user-friendly eCommerce experience that accurately reflected Mouldings One’s expertise and quality.
