The Problem

Despite its creativity and loyal fan base, Cirque Colors’ BigCommerce store had become a barrier to growth. Everyday management was slow and error-prone, requiring HTML and CSS knowledge for basic updates. Integrations with inventory systems like Cin7 frequently failed, creating manual workflows that were inefficient and time-consuming. The rigid platform prevented the team from refreshing designs for new collections, making every launch look nearly identical and reducing excitement among returning customers.

Sales and engagement began to slip as competitors delivered more dynamic, mobile-friendly experiences. The lack of a fast, modern checkout option, like Shop Pay, cost the brand impulse purchases from mobile shoppers. Marketing campaigns suffered as updates required technical support, delaying launches and reducing flexibility.

Cirque Colors needed a solution that would eliminate these operational bottlenecks, allow full creative freedom, and provide a scalable foundation to grow alongside their product launches. The objective was clear: a visually bold, fully flexible storefront that reflected the brand’s identity while improving conversions, engagement, and operational efficiency.

Our Solution

DigitlHaus partnered with Cirque Colors to migrate their store to Shopify and create a platform built for agility, creativity, and performance. The team designed a scalable custom theme system with editable panels, allowing the brand to update colors, layouts, and typography for each new collection without developer support.

To balance creativity with consistency, we built a design framework tying color, typography, and spacing to controlled variables, ensuring every update remained on-brand. Product pages were redesigned to showcase each color story as a curated experience, with full-width imagery, lifestyle videos, and integrated social content that elevated engagement. Navigation and search were simplified through an intuitive mega menu, while product badges and promotions highlighted key offerings.

DigitlHaus also addressed operational inefficiencies by integrating Shopify with Cin7, eliminating manual inventory management and syncing errors. Checkout was optimized with Shop Pay and Afterpay to capture mobile-driven purchases. SEO best practices, page speed improvements, and ADA compliance were incorporated to ensure a technically sound, high-performing site.

Every component—from UX strategy and design to backend integrations and campaign management—was optimized to give Cirque Colors autonomy and flexibility. The brand could now launch collections quickly, maintain creative control, and provide a seamless, engaging experience for customers.

The Results

The new Shopify store delivered measurable growth and operational improvements. Within months, Cirque Colors experienced a 114% increase in revenue, 148% higher conversions, 37% more transactions, and a 32% rise in organic traffic. The team regained full control over design and campaigns, reducing launch time from weeks to minutes. Customers enjoyed a visually rich, mobile-optimized experience, while operational efficiencies streamlined inventory management and checkout.
