The Problem

Frogg Toggs’ digital storefront, built on NetSuite SuiteCommerce, had become rigid and outdated. The platform’s ERP-first structure limited both frontend flexibility and backend control, forcing the team to rely heavily on developers for even minor updates. Launching landing pages, updating campaigns, or refreshing merchandising required technical support, slowing responsiveness to seasonal trends and customer demand.

Content management and promotional efforts were cumbersome, and the site lacked modern functionality to showcase the brand’s extensive product catalog effectively. Video, photography, and lifestyle content could not be leveraged fully, resulting in a user experience that lagged behind competitors. Integration with the brand’s ERP system and other tools was unreliable, creating manual workflows prone to errors and inefficiency.

These technical constraints translated into financial consequences: slower campaigns, lower conversions, and frustrated customers. Frogg Toggs needed a platform that combined design flexibility, operational control, and modern eCommerce functionality. Incremental fixes were insufficient; a full migration and rebuild were required to modernize the storefront, empower internal teams, and support growth.

Our Solution

DigitlHaus migrated Frogg Toggs to Shopify Plus, rebuilding the site to combine simplicity, scalability, and operational efficiency. The new design was clean, bold, and user-focused, emphasizing product storytelling through high-quality photography and video, clear typography, and intuitive navigation. Every design element supported legibility, brand consistency, and a premium yet accessible shopping experience.

Operationally, the platform was rebuilt for internal control. Frogg Toggs’ team can now create landing pages, launch campaigns, and manage products without developer support. Custom widgets, drag-and-drop sections, and flexible templates streamlined workflows, while integrations with NetSuite ERP, Klaviyo, Bazaarvoice, Gorgias, and Affirm ensured synchronized inventory, orders, and customer data across the ecosystem.

Custom functionalities—product badges, hover-swaps, video integration, size charts, and warranty prompts—enhanced shopping confidence and reduced friction. The Insights Outdoor brand was merged into FroggToggs.com, creating a unified storefront. Performance optimizations improved load times and reliability, while the scalable architecture supported future expansion.
