Evie Lou’s existing Shopify store, built by a previous agency, was heavily customized and nearly impossible to maintain internally. Even minor updates—like changing collection layouts, adding promotional content, or testing homepage imagery—required developer intervention, creating high costs, delays, and operational frustration. While the site initially drove conversions, its outdated design, infrequent updates, and inflexible structure caused product imagery and content to stagnate. Our Solution

DigitlHaus approached Evie Lou’s rebuild as both a creative and operational transformation. The team designed a modern, magazine-style storefront leveraging existing lifestyle photography and video, creating an editorial experience that highlighted products while maintaining simplicity and ease of navigation. Every page was intentionally structured to inspire browsing, showcase collections, and convert shoppers.

On the backend, DigitlHaus rebuilt the Shopify architecture to restore internal control. Drag-and-drop sections, flexible page templates, and intuitive content controls allowed the Evie Lou team to update imagery, launch promotions, and manage seasonal collections independently, eliminating reliance on developers. Custom product card badging, video integration on product pages, designer listings, breadcrumbs, and enhanced search improved usability and supported purchase decisions.

Operational improvements included full Lightspeed POS integration for accurate, real-time inventory, and technical optimizations such as ADA compliance, performance enhancements, and a scalable infrastructure designed for growth.
